PPD: Johnny Cupcakes

a clothing brand that has been active since 2001. The cupcake logo is the clothing lines feature , they incorporate different icons and symbols with the cupcake to make it more individual , in this case a skull and crossbones. The brand's insignia is a skull and crossbones, with a cupcake silhouette replacing the skull.

The Johnny Cupcakes line includes t-shirts, shorts, jumpers, jewelry, undergarments, and pins. Johnny now has stores and boutiques in Boston,Massachusetts and Los Angeles, California, with another shop in Hull, Massachusetts and another opening London's Carnaby Street.

I visited the store in London last week , the interior of the shop was themed like a bakery..

The t-shirts were displayed behind a glass counter at the front of the store

The design's on the t-shirts seemed to be themed , they were eye catching and the use of fonts were varied e.g old english fonts and modern bold.

The theme of cupcakes was used with a twist of a grimey rock and roll design style.

There was an interesting large mechanism at the front of the shop where a ball was flung, span and rolled around metal bars , it definitely gave the store a quirky difference and generated alot of interest on the busy Carnaby street...
