i like to hand render all of my work if possible so due to that im really interested in illustration. my software skills are average but you can't beat putting pen to paper. i definitely prefer print based design but will have a good go at screen based stuff too when the opportunity arises. I'm pretty good at organising myself and write a to do list for pretty much everything to help but i don't always stick to this which is something i need to work on. i often lack self confidence but im working on taking risks more often

im fairly disorganised at the moment and lack a bit of motivation, on the plus side i love hand hendered design and i enjoy branding and identity work. im fairly good at photoshop and illustrator not so good at indesign. i like to challenge myself in presenting stuff. i often get designers block and think of a good idea right at the last minute which motivates me to work hard

I'm good at layout , so putting image , type and colour together , good idea concept however i don't often push myself into actually persuing them! i am a visual thinker and am quite good at presentation , die say my weaknesses are punctuality and motivation. i am confident in group work and usually quite organised , but lack self confidence when speaking to a crowd. I am really interested in the fashion industry , i am not totally sure if i want to go into digital or print , but I'm working on coming to a decision.
Ide say as a group we defiantly have our differences as people ,our skills and in the way that we work.
At first i was worried that our differences would effect our idea and how we get on but after a few discussions i feel much better.
We have decided that we are going to use our differences to our advantage.
We came up with a few proposals and tasks for over the Christmas holidays...
- Further exploration within enterprise
- Narrowing down which parts of GD were interested in
- Finding out who we are as designer
- Our influences
- Thinking about business proposals in general
- Researching into Arts and Crafts companies such as hobby craft , paper chase etc
In our third meeting after christmas we bring everything that we have researched over the holidays to the table and we will discuss further our idea of creating a new arts , design and crafts business which would potentially include each of our design styles.
