Competition - Edinburgh 

Since our group is looking at potentially being based in Edinburgh's , i have had a look at the competition that would be around us. 

Touch design studio is an agency in Edinburgh's , they cover a wide range of communication from branding and identity to illustration and digital design. 

The are quite a small business but they definitely have the skills and brains to create some fresh and innovate design. They regularly collaborate with a number of photographs , designers , developers and students in their projects which is something that we could also think about!

They also sometimes work with artists , printer and packaging specialists , this gives their company more scope in terms of its design results!

Knowing that they collaborate with other designers in the area is a good sign as we can cross them off as competition if we could potentially produce some work with them. 

Who works there? .....

After looking at the business team as a whole , i realised that three people in one team probably militates us skills and hands wise. Touch's studios has a copyright designer , a studio manager and a print designer as well as all the digital designers , this is where we lack in this are as we only have three image inspired digital designers. We definitely need to research and make ourselves more knowledgeable on what we need as a team in order for our business to work! 

They also have some BIG clients!
