Fashion and Retail Influences
I found this piece of design posted on a blog called SI. i often find exceptionally inspirational graphic design on here , i recently found this unique piece of re-brand by Multistorey for a florist company in London called the modern flower.
An interesting approach to its identity, i can see how the designers have expressed the word modern and gave the brand a floral yet graphic style.
I like how the capital font which looks like a twisted Helvetica has been weaved around a white grid which resembles the traditional white garden trellis like vines.
The off pink background colour goes well with the green as it makes the type stand out. Although flowers are quite girly , i think the green capital type makes the design less feminine for a broader audience.
